I'm one of those people that research and take tonnes of notes... I've heard so many horror stories about other contractors... so I was skeptical... I took photos of the whole process. Every time we met I emailed him a list of what I wanted to talk about with a follow up email to confirm after... he put up with all of this. I had definite ideas about what, where and how I wanted things...yes put the outlets at 24 inches... I spray painted all my locations... I even talked to the subcontractors... so I was not an easy client. Our permits took months... Not only does he have knowledge and skill, but so do his crew...Plus the remodel is a work of art... good construction is functional art... I knew other contractors where we lived on the coast...but I wanted someone local...with local connections. I also wanted to buy American as much as possible... We appreciated how changes and corrections were handled...I highly recommend Marini Construction... you would be lucky to have him. Do your research and stay involved... if you want specific things... you will be pleased. Great contractor - referred originally by a friend, Mike and his team have been great! Our first interaction was a demonstration of integrity where, following some water damage in our wall, he pointed us to a solution that did not include his services! He has since done work for us from kitchen counter modification, custom sliding door/window replacement to fence work and custom gate in an archway. Every time, great work with attention to details, review of his team's work daily and addressing anything that didn't meet his standard with or without prior comments from us! He is very clear about the cost so there are no surprises. For those that have ever dealt with a downed bathroom could understand the stress and frustration this process could be.
