Last Updated: October 6, 2026
Welcome to the website of Michael Marini Construction (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of mariniconstruction.com and explain how we handle proposals, contracts, and projects. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use this website.
1. Our Services and License
Michael Marini Construction provides residential and commercial construction services throughout Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, San Benito, and Monterey Counties, including Campbell, Carmel, Gilroy, Hollister, Los Gatos, Morgan Hill, San Martin, and Santa Cruz. Services include:
- New construction

- Home additions
- ADU construction
- Hardscaping
All work is performed under California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) B General Building License #1075143.
2. Proposals, Contracts, and Payment
Proposals and estimates. Proposals are free. Any pricing shared on this website, by phone, or by email is a preliminary estimate. It is not binding. Final pricing is set in your written proposal after we evaluate the project in person.
Written contracts. Work is performed under a written contract as required by California law. Your contract will state the price, scope of work, payment schedule, project timeline, and any warranty. If these Terms and your signed contract conflict, your contract controls.
Changes to the work. If you request changes, or we find conditions that change the scope or price, we will document them in a written change order and get your approval before doing the additional work.
Permits and inspections. Permits and inspections required for your project are handled as stated in your contract.
3. Scheduling and Cancellations
Project schedules. We work hard to keep projects on schedule. Weather, permits, inspections, material availability, and site conditions can cause delays. We will keep you informed if your schedule changes.
Cancellations. Your right to cancel a signed contract is explained in that contract. Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule a site visit or appointment.
4. Warranties and Existing Conditions
Our workmanship. Our workmanship warranty is stated in your contract.
Manufacturer warranties. Appliances, fixtures, and materials are covered by their manufacturer’s warranty. We are happy to help you file a warranty claim.
Existing conditions. Older homes and buildings can have hidden damage, outdated wiring or plumbing, or code issues we did not create. We will tell you about conditions we find. We are not responsible for pre-existing problems that our work did not cause.
